Amazing Facts about Pakistan
Pakistan meaning the “The land of pure” where each day the sun rises with a new hope, with an enduring majesty as the rays of light flushing down towards the snowcapped peaks of Himalaya’s and Nanga Parbat. A land where love finds a meaning in the heart warming hospitability of people, a land where history and ancient civilization mystifies one’s heart, a land the land I belong to, this is the land I’ll die for and this is the land that defines
my identity.
Pakistan stands at the crossroads of South and Central Asia. This unique geographical position has given the country immense social and natural diversity. There exist many features, cultures and honors unique to Pakistan. Following are some of these surprises.

The Siachin Glacier

The north of Pakistan boasts undoubtedly the worlds most stunning mountain scenery. Forget about those touristy Himalayan trials in Nepal, if you are looking for real wild mountain beauty, then Northern Areas are the place to go. The extreme northeastern part of Pakistan is dominated by the craggy Karakorums, whose glaciers are the worlds biggest permanent mass of snow and ice outside the poles.

Worlds Tallest Cliff

Trango Towers are amongst the many jewels encountered during the epic trek to K2. Standing tall like guardians of the great glaciers, the biggest member of the group, the Grand Trango, features the worlds greatest nearly vertical drop; nearly 1340 meters. They also offer some of the most technical rock climbing and extreme BASE jumping opportunities.

The most Mysterious Tribe

Although un-contacted tribes still exist in unexplored rainforest regions, Kalash are possibly the worlds most mysterious group. Surrounded for thousands of kilometers by Islamic strongholds, they are the only tribe
which has kept its pre-Islamic belief religion. Their exotic European features have inspired many theories about possible origins but nothing substantial has yet been proven. Their long term existence is however in doubt due to
increasing tourist exposure and Islamization.

Pakistan,s Cricket

1st ODI: England Vs Pakistan (Feb 13, Abu Dhabi)
The white wash of the Test series of England will have a devastating effect on the ODI series with Pakistan, however Cook has warned that his team
is ready to start the ODI series with all guns blazing.
Fact is that record of England team oversees is very poor and losing the last two one day series against Australia and India will also add detrimental effect on the mind set of English Team. Moreover, the matches will be played Day/Night and English quickies will not be able to utilize the early morning moisture.
The sizzling Boom Boom Afridi is back on the Pakistan ODI side with a blazing 5 wicket haul against Afghanistan and will be at his best in the series, so England will have to face a tough task in ODI series.

Foreign Tourist Attraction in Pakistan:
An examination of the
Motivation for travel in 2005 shows that returning Pakistanis interest to meet friends and relatives is the leading motivation followed by business activities, cultural visits, adventure and so on.

Amir,s Comments.
Ministry of Tourism Pakistan had conducted an analysis to assess the Motivation of travelers to Pakistan. Analysis gives you an idea that the motivation to visit Pakistan is due to people to people contact and followed by the interest in Local Foods and Shopping. My recommendation is that organize a trip to Pakistan and must see charming and attractive Landscapes High peaks of the Hindukush, with their unspoiled, green Valleys of Chitral which is a source of inspiration for the tourists.
